“Residents are required to load and haul away the material themselves,” city officials said in a newsletter.

Locations include:

  • Veterans Memorial Park
  • Southeast Area Park
  • Allmendinger Park
  • Furstenberg Park
  • 721 N. Main Street

Free compost is also available to residents at the city’s composting facility at 4170 Platt Road. Residents can grab up to one cubic yard of compost on Saturdays between 7-11 a.m. until Monday, July 4.

Those interested must be able to move and haul their own woodchips and compost, according to the city’s compost website.

Find maps of each woodchip location, along with the city’s composting rules here.
