Ann Arbor police respond to 50 crashes during winter storm on Friday

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Police were called to around 50 crashes and 60 motorist accidents or traffic hazards during Friday’s winter storm, officials shared on social media.
There were no serious injuries despite the high volume of incidents, and most of the weather-related calls happened between 1-10 p.m., according to the post.

Ann Arbor received several inches of snow resulting in more than 4,000 residents having lost power, per DTE’s power outage map.
More snow, high winds and freezing temperatures across Metro Detroit are anticipated to continue throughout the weekend.
