Ann Arbor Civic Band playing free summer concert series in Burns Park

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Grab a lawn chair or a blanket and listen to free concerts performed by the Ann Arbor Civic Band on Wednesdays through mid-July.
The music starts at 7:30 p.m. on the Burns Park lawn at 1300 Baldwin Ave.
Led by Music Director Dr. J. Nick Smith., 123 musicians volunteer their time with the nonprofit band to put on free concerts every summer.
Performance themes range from Big Band tunes to patriotic classics. There will be a special event held in Chelsea on June 29.
Two concerts have already happened but four more are planned.

Saturday, June 29, 2024: Special Event in Chelsea
Wednesday, July 3, 2024: Stars and Stripes
Wednesday, July 10, 2024: Young Person’s Concert
Wednesday, July 17, 2024: Big Band Bash!
