University of Michigan student seriously injured when struck by car
An Ann Arbor Police Department vehicle. (Sarah Parlette, WDIV)ANN ARBOR, Mich. – A 21-year-old woman was seriously injured when she was hit by a car in Ann Arbor.
According to authorities, she was crossing Main Street, near Hill Street, when she was struck just before 11 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16.
She was rushed to the University of Michigan Hospital Emergency Room.
The driver, a 38-year-old woman from Milan, remained on scene and has been cooperating with police.
Authorities do not believe speed played a factor.
