The Columbus, Ohio, native surprisingly committed to the men in maize, but Brown is now the first running back to join the football program in the 2026 class.

Brown is a 6′1″, 200-pound athletic tailback from St. Francis de Sales High School who toted the pigskin 202 times for 1,295 yards on the ground and 16 touchdowns during his junior campaign.

He was named First-Team All-Conference and All-District while also receiving an honorable mention for All-State.

According to reports, Brown’s noticeable trait is his breakaway speed, which assists in his explosiveness as he hits the edges on the gridiron.

Michigan offered brown on June 19 before he initially committed on June 22.

According to reports, the men in maize beat out Rutgers, Air Force, and Army for Brown’s services.

For Michigan fans, Brown did not receive a recruitment letter from Ohio State, so he potentially being slighted while toting the rock vs. the Buckeyes could breed extra motivation.

Not to mention Ryan Day’s son, R.J. Day, plays on the same high school team as Brown, so his program has seen him play before.
