‘All glory to God’: Michigan football lands 2026 4-star WR Travis Johnson

Johnson is the 20th commit in the 2026 class

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Michigan Wolverines have landed 2026 four-star wide receiver Travis Johnson.

Johnson became the 20th commitment in the class of 2026 for the football program on Friday (July 4).

The Oscar Smith High School standout is well-rounded on the gridiron, possessing size, speed, and great hands, which will be a plus for quarterback Bryce Underwood.

Michigan has been searching for athletic receivers for a while now, and with Johnson, they’ll be expected to set off fireworks inside and outside of the Big House.

He is a multi-sport athlete, as his incredible leaping ability earned him All-Region second-team honors while helping his high school reach the Virginia 6A semifinals.

The 6′4″ 190-pound wide receiver from Chesapeake, Virginia had offers from North Carolina, Penn State, South Carolina and Indiana before selecting to take his talents to Ann Arbor.
