ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Ann Arbor police are investigating a series of prowler reports in the vicinity of the University of Michigan campus.
The latest incident occurred on Aug. 18, 2025, at 1:30 a.m. in the 500 block of E. Kingsley.
Police said a resident reported seeing a man looking into the home before fleeing on foot.
Other areas with prowler reports include the 1100 block of White Street, the 900 block of Dewey Avenue, and the 200 block of Thayer Street, officials said.
At this time, there is no known surveillance video of the suspect or suspects.
Investigators are still working on detailed descriptions for each incident.
The incident remains an active and ongoing investigation.
Police have added extra patrols in the student housing area to increase safety.
Residents are urged to call 911 immediately if they see anyone peering into windows or acting suspiciously.
Safety tips for residents include closing blinds or curtains at night and when lights are on inside, using outdoor lighting such as motion sensor porch lights, installing cameras or video doorbells, and trimming landscaping near windows to reduce hiding spots.
