Woman accused of claiming to have a bomb to rob an Ann Arbor bank

Bond set at $75,000 cash after arrest

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – A 26-year-old woman from Wayne County has been arrested after reportedly robbing an Ann Arbor bank.

The robbery happened just after 4:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13, at the PNC Bank on Main Street, just north of Eisenhower Parkway. Police said the woman handed a note to a teller claiming she had a gun, a bomb, demanding money.

She was given an undisclosed amount of cash before leaving the area.

A police K-9 searched the bank out of precaution, but explosives were not found.

The suspect was identified by police as Wayne resident Christina Ikerd. She was taken into custody the next day and charged with bank robbery.

Her bond was set at $75,000 cash.
