DETROIT – Charity Preview 2017 at the North American Auto Show is Friday. Here's what you need to know about the annual gala: 

When: Friday, Jan. 13, 6-9 p.m.

Where: Cobo Hall, 1 Washington Blvd, Detroit, MI 48226

What: Black-tie gala organized by the Detroit Auto Dealers Association and held annually on the Friday night before the Detroit auto show open to the public. Tickets are $400 per person ($390 is tax deductible) and proceeds benefits youth-focused nonprofits throughout Metro Detroit. About 13,000 tickets were sold for the 2016 Charity Preview, raising $5.2 million. (Watch: 2017 fashion trends for Charity Preview)

Entertainment: The Beach Boys  

Can I still get tickets? Yes, tickets are available here or at the door. 

Parking: You can park near Cobo for $20+, or along The PeopleMover route. Tolkens are 75 cents.

After party: Charity Preview ends at 9 p.m., followed by the Studio 25 party at NAIAS, which runs until 1 a.m. Tickets for the after-hours party are an additional $150.
