Our next Go 4 It event aims to help animals at a Metro Detroit shelter by collecting needed supplies.
Local 4 is partnering with the Michigan Animal Rescue League, one of longest-serving shelters in Southeast Michigan.

MARL has been in operation since 1953 and aims to provide “the highest quality of life to dogs and cats through rescue, medical care, socialization and behavioral support, short- and long-term sanctuary, adoption, and community education and outreach.”

If you want to join us, we’ll be at the Michigan Animal Rescue League -- 340 Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard North in Pontiac -- from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Feb. 25, 2026. Please stop by and donate any of the items listed below!

- Purina Pro Plan dry dog and puppy food
- Purina One dry cat and kitten food
- Any dog or cat wet food
- Any dog or cat treats
- Any dog or cat toys
- Unscented Clumping Cat Litter
The shelter cannot accept bags that are already open.
New or like-new toys are accepted.
