Be a part of 'Lemonade Detroit'

DETROIT – He's a man on a mission to tell the story of Detroit. But not just to tell it, show it.

Filmmaker Eric Proulx has spent years in Detroit piecing together frames for his documentary, "Lemonade Detroit."

And anyone can be a part of it.

Whether you have a $1 of $7,000, anyone can become a producer of the documentary by buying frames.

The documentary doesn't ignore the city's painful decline, but focuses on its resilience and renewal.

Proulx is from Boston, but said Detroit captured his imagination.

He hopes to have the end product - a 90-minute film - completed within a year.
