List of the world's safest airlines

DETROIT – The list of the world's safest, and least safe, airlines is out.

According to airlinerankings.com, Qantas tops the list as the safest airline for the third year in a row.

U.S.. carriers Alaska Airlines, American, Hawaiian Airlines and United were all on the safest list.

The least safe airlines were found in Indonesia, Nepal and Surinam and include Batik Air and Lion Air.
