American Airlines new ad campaign wants you to be polite on flights

DETROIT – A new ad campaign from American Airlines has a message to it's passengers: Be polite and it will be a great flight.

At least that's the message one could draw from the "world's greatest fliers" campaign.

The ads were launched earlier this week, encouraging passengers to be considerate of others by asking if it's okay to pull the window shade.

This comes as some airlines and airports face backlash for more fees, smaller seats and longer lines.
