DETROIT – Meijer is adding a slew of new Metro Detroit areas to its home delivery service zone.
The grocery giant announced the expansion of home delivery service in Southeast Michigan on Wednesday, adding several Detroit-area suburbs to the list.

Beginning June 22, Shipt, the official Meijer delivery partner, will begin delivering in Ann Arbor and will expand the convenient service to customers in Detroit-area suburbs, including Allen Park, Belleville, Brighton, Flat Rock, Hartland, Howell, Lincoln Park, Monroe, Oxford, Southgate, Taylor and Woodhaven.
Meijer customers can sign up for Shipt memberships for $99 per year. For a limited-time, new members will also receive $25 off their first order. Delivery is free for orders over $35; a flat $7 delivery fee is added to any orders under $35.
Customers can shop for 55,000 groceries and everyday essentials and perishables - including fresh produce, refrigerated and frozen items as well as pet food and health and beauty care items. Personal shoppers hand-pick items from local Meijer stores offering Shipt’s home-delivery service and deliver orders within a preferred one-hour time window.
