Michigan U.S. Congresswoman Debbie Dingell has won re-election in the state’s newly drawn 6th district, defeating Republican challenger Whittney Williams in the 2022 general election.
Dingell has represented the 12th district since 2015, filling the seat of her late husband John Dingell.
Dingell attended Georgetown University, and previously chaired Al Gore’s campaign for president in Michigan in 2000, and served on the Wayne State University board of governors.
