'Jeopardy!' airs at a special time tonight - 7 p.m. on Local 4

Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions will air at a special time tonight - at 7 p.m. - due to Thursday Night Football. Wheel of Fortune will not air tonight but will return at its regularly scheduled time on Friday.

During this week's Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions, the show is paying a special tribute.  Blue ribbons and memorial pins, a sign of honor for Jeopardy! Champion, Cindy Stowell.  Last year, Cindy competed on Jeopardy! winning six games, which earned her a spot in the Tournament of Champions.  At the same time, Cindy was also fighting stage four cancer and planned to donate her winnings to the Cancer Research Institute.  Just eight days before her episodes aired, Cindy lost her fight against the disease.  

In recognition of her achievement, Jeopardy! will donate $10,000 to the Cancer Research Institute in Cindy’s memory.  During the Tournament of Champions this week, Alex Trebek, the contestants, and the entire Jeopardy! staff and crew will be wearing pins to raise awareness and funds for the fight against colon cancer while remembering an incredible champion, Cindy Stowell.
