11-year-old Michigan boy invited to White House for confronting bullies

DETROIT – This 11-year-old Michigan boy is gaining a lot of attention, including that of the White House, for a video his father posted of him confronting online bullies.

About five days ago, Logan Fairbanks asked his father Josh to post a video of him reading comments left on some of their other videos.

Logan states he's never read them before, and then slowly reads through the comments. The video is heartbreaking.

One person writes, "It's funny because he's fat." Another person says, "He is so ugly and big." A third person writes, "I hope he gets cancer."

The video has been viewed over 700,000 times on YouTube. White House Senior Advisor Valerie Jarrett reaching out to Logan on Twitter, saying "you are stronger than anyone's hurtful words. We could all learn something from you and your dad." She then invited them to the White House!
