Flashpoint 1/31/16: Presidential race, politics in Flint

The Flint water crisis continues and has gained national attention. The Iowa caucus is Monday and the presidential candidates are jockeying for the front running position.

Local 4’s Hank Winchester gave an update from Flint on what is happening on the ground. Devin Scillian was joined by Curt Guyette, investigative reporter ACLU of Michigan where they discussed the fallout in Flint. The panel consisted of Paul Welday, Republican strategist, Adolph Mongo, political consultant, Rochelle Riley, columnist for the Detroit Free Press, and Kathy Hoekstra, political commentator for The Detroit News and they discussed Flint and the presidential race on this week’s Flashpoint.
