The toe shortening procedure involves dislocating the toe and sawing out a 2-millimeter chunk of bone then inserting a titanium rod to bring the shortened bone back together. Another procedure gaining traction plumps up the bottom of the foot to make high heel wearing more comfortable. It involves liposuctioning fat from a patient's belly and injecting it into the balls of the feet.

A 'Loub Job' is the term given by designer Christian Louboutin for a cosmetic operation which allows an increased level of comfort when wearing high heeled shoes.
This cosmetic procedure involves injecting collagen into the toe pads, heels and balls of your feet which creates a pillow-like result. A Loub Job takes just 20 minutes, lasts about 6 months and costs around $500.
