The American Red Cross and Gardner White are teaming up again for a two-day blood drive to help people in need of lifesaving blood.
This two-day event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 6, and Thursday, Jan. 8.
The Red Cross is facing a severe blood supply shortage following a busy holiday season and challenging winter weather.
Hospitals are struggling to secure enough blood products, which could force difficult decisions about patient transfusions.
There is an urgent need for donors, especially those with O, A negative and B negative blood types.
You can schedule an appointment by visiting RedCrossBlood.org, calling 1-800-RED CROSS, or using the Red Cross Blood Donor App and code gardnerwhite.
Donors who give blood during the event will receive a $50 coupon toward a Gardner White purchase of $399 or more.
They will also be entered to win a $500 Gardner White gift certificate.
Additionally, donors who give now through Jan. 25 will be automatically entered to win a trip for two to Super Bowl LX in Santa Clara, California.
The Super Bowl prize includes day-of in-stadium pre-game activities, tickets to the official Super Bowl Experience, round-trip airfare, three-night hotel accommodations and a $1,000 gift card for expenses.
