WEST BLOOMFIELD, Mich. – Beyonce and husband, Jay-Z, delivered their first daughter in style.
The VIP suite in Lennox Hill Hospital in New York City is complete with four flat screen TV's, state of the art electronics, a kitchenette, mahogany walls and plush furnishings.
Little Blue Ivy definitely got the royal treatment.

But while there has been a lot of buzz about Beyonce's delivery room, expectant mothers in Metro Detroit won't have to travel to NYC to deliver their baby in luxuary, and they won't need a Beyonce budget.
"Everyone is treated like a VIP, truly," said Trish Klassa, a clinical nurse specialist at Henry Ford Hospital in West Bloomfield.
At Henry Ford West Bloomfield, all labor and delivery rooms are private.
Here is what those rooms feature:
- Feng Shui principles, a Chinese practice of living in harmony with the environment, the rooms feature curved walls for a more soothing environment. Crown molding, wooden cabinetry and Corian countertops are standard.
- Wireless Internet access, phone, remote-controlled window treatments and lighting.
- Whirlpool baths as an option for those in labor.
- Closetsin each room are equipped with locks so patients can secure their belongings.
- Every room has a view of a pond and woods, or a landscaped atrium.
- The kitchen provides 24/7 room service with healthy, tasty food – ordered via the flatscreen TV.
- The flatscreen TV offers entertainment and educational options, as well as a way to provide daily feedback about care directly to the hospital's CEO and COO.
- Space for family members to stay overnight in every room, without restrictive visiting hours.
- Unless medically necessary, patients are not disturbed by staff from 10:30 p.m.to 5:30 a.m.to check vitals, draw blood or administer medication.
- Alcoves outside each patient room are buffer zones from the halls, with no overhead paging, and staff can check on patients through windows, leaving doors closed.
If that's not enough, Henry Ford West Bloomfield has a full service hair salon and massage therapy unit. So, if a soon-to-be mom is looking for a mani and pedi, the service will come right to her room.
"There is absoluetly no extra cost to stay in one of our private suites," Klassa said. "We have 15 labor and delivery rooms and all of these features come standard."
