IKEA hot plate aims to eliminate phone usage during dinner No description found
DETROIT – IKEA's newest product might encourage you to stay off your phone during dinner -- if you want your food to stay hot, that is.
IKEA's hot plate runs on surrendered smartphones.
Diners in Taiwan tested out the new device at an in-store dinner. The more phones that were added, the hotter the plate got. Check out the video below.
