There's no doubt Americans love their pizza, from Chicago deep dish to New York style 'za! National Pizza Day is Wednesday, February 9th, and
you can celebrate at Metro-Detroit locations of MOD Pizza.
In case you didn't know, the first pizzeria opened in Naples, Italy in 1738, according to the National Pizza Day website. That's 278 years of sausage, pepperoni, cheese and all the other toppings we've come to know and love.
MOD Pizza has seven location around Metro-Detroit and they're celebrating the day with a free MOD size pizzas for the first 25 people to visit each
restaurant and say they saw this offer on WDIV or on Facebook. The restaurants open at 10:30 a.m.
