Recipe for peanut butter nut bars
Peanut Butter -- In November 2011, J.M. Smucker Co. recalled some 16-ounce jars of its Smucker?s Natural Peanut Butter Chunky sold in several states because of possible salmonella contamination. (Nicolas Raymond/SXC)
Below is the recipe for the peanut butter nut bars discussed by Kimberly DeGiulio on Local 4 News Today.
Ingredients :
3 cups old fashioned oats
1 cup peanut butter
½ cup honey
Instructions :
Line a 9x9 pan with foil.
Melt the peanut butter and honey together until smooth. Combine the mixture with oats.
Press into pan. Place in freezer for 3 hours. Cut into squares.
Store in the fridge.
