DETROIT – Another week in Detroit, another slew of new restaurants.
This week, we're welcoming a couple of new sure-to-be gems - one Downtown and one in Detroit's Midtown.

The Press Room Cafe opened on Wednesday in the old Detroit News building at 615 Lafayette. Featuring fresh roasted Intelligentsia coffee and espresso, made to order smoothies, a variety of Avalon and scratch made pastries as well as signature breakfast sandwiches.
The Market is open from 7am-7pm and has everything you need for an afternoon snack or items to take home for dinner. Check out the menu here.
In Midtown's Cass Corridor, Tou & Mai is serving up boba tea and macarons, right next to Go Sy Thai. Located at 4240 Cass Ave, Suite 102.
The new spot offers ice cream, smoothies and Asian grocery and snacks.
We've already seen a couple of new food spots open in the last few weeks, including La Pecora Nera, an Italian deli cafe, and Brass Rail Pizza, which took over for Rub BBQ.
We've even seen plans for a new bar-arcade near Greektown, set to open this spring.

Atomic Chicken in New Center: 18 months in the making, their new location is located on 6500 Woodward Avenue, open from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. You can check the menu here.
La Lanterna Italian Eatery in Capitol Park: This spot is a reboot of a restaurant that originally operated from the 1950s to the 1960s. The menu includes pizza, salads, soups and other Italian meals. The eatery is open from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. at 1224 Griswold. They are currently in a soft opening, according to Eater.
Avalon Bread Downtown: The well-known bakery is opening a Downtown Detroit location this Friday, located at 1049 Woodward. The location offers baked goods, coffee and sandwiches.
