What did Adam Scott say about the SAG Awards?

The actor talks about his most recent award nomination for his role in “Severance”

How would you like to separate your work life and your personal life, so much so that you don’t remember anything about your personal life while you’re at work? That’s the basic premise behind the Apple TV+ show “Severance”. It follows Mark Scout, played by Adam Scott, who starts questioning what’s happening on his job, and a conspiracy starts to unravel.

Scott is nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series at this year’s Screen Actors Guild Awards. He joined host Tati Amare on “Live In The D” to talk about the nomination and the show. Scott has also been nominated for a Golden Globe Award and a Critics Choice Award for the same role.

“It’s extra meaningful because it’s SAG, because it’s other actors,” said Scott. “It’s fellow actors that are recognizing us.”

When it comes to the show itself, Scott talked about how he constantly hears a variety of reasons as to why it connects with people. He says that for some it’s the comedy while others like the sci-fi/thriller feel to the story.

Watch the interview above to see what he had to say about Season 2 of “Severance”, which is shooting right now, and the one question he gets asked the most about the show.
