Trendy toys to unwrap this holiday season

You may still be looking for the perfect gift for the toy lover in your life, so Live In The D checked in with “The Toy Insider” to see what toys are hot this holiday season.

A lot of the new toys are actually a throwback to toys of the past, explained James Zahn, senior editor with “The Toy Insider”. An example he shared is the Flybar Play-doh Ride-on School Bus. It’s a ride-on toy, but the seat opens up and there’s play-doh inside. There’s even a rolling pin in the spoiler. The bus also features lights and sounds.

Other trendy toy suggestions Zahn shared are the Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Mix & Learn DJ, dolls from the Fresh Beats collection, and the Star Wars Micro Galaxy Squadron AT-AT Walker.
