Artist to represent Detroit in international competition

“The International Blues Challenge” is a competition that features Blues musicians from across the world, and an artist from Metro Detroit will be attending the event.

Jeff Grand says he doesn’t like to consider music a competition, but says, “It’s a chance for people to get together with a lot of like people who determine who they think is the best.”

Grand will be at the challenge representing the Detroit Blues Society, and will compete with others representing their blues society. The competition takes place January 16-20 in Memphis, TN.
