This Detroiter is on a mission to feed the community

Local 4 is shining a spotlight on community members who have decided to Go 4 It and make a difference in their neighborhoods. Steve Rimmer is among those stepping up to help people in Detroit.

Rimmer is part of a group that runs a food pantry called The Seward Sharing Table. It provides access to free food and breaks down barriers that prevent community members from being able to put food on their tables. The food pantry is located on Seward Ave. near 2nd Avenue.

Local 4′s Vice President and General Manager Bob Ellis presented Rimmer with a Go 4 It Award, which honors him for embodying the Go 4 It spirit by making an impact in our community. Watch the video above to see Rimmer receive the award.
