Celebrating National Vet Tech Week

As we celebrate National Veterinary Technician Week, experts want people to know just how important they are when it comes to animal care. Crystal Sapp from Michigan Humane stopped by “Live in the D” to chat about the critical role Vet Techs play. “They do everything to help assist Vets with animal care,” Sapp said. She said Vet Techs are always right beside Vets and are the backbone of any animal organization or clinic.

During your next visit to the vet, be sure to thank the Vet Techs for their service, and if you’re looking for a new fur baby, Michigan Humane has a cute puppy named Dora available for adoption. Dora, a Pit Bull Mix is 2 months old, and the Mike Morse Law firm will pay the standard adoption fee for whoever adopts todays pet of the week.
