This art studio is on a roll

The idea for a Detroit artist to take art on the road, came about during a time when everyone was forced inside due to the pandemic. Now, the owner of Paint Bus Detroit, Lashay Heard, says her mobile art business has been on a roll.

“We‘ve been to Ohio, upper Michigan, we’ve been all over the place and we go where ever we can,” Heard said.

They offer custom paint parties and other art and crafts events on the bus that can accommodate up to 25 people.
