Detroit artist plays more than 150 shows a year

Detroit artist Annemarie Jo describes her music as inspirational, emotional, and catchy. She told “Live in the D” host Tati Amare she ‘s influenced also by Blues and Rock, and she wants her music to bring people together.

“I think that music is such a universal language and I just try and be as authentic as possible,” she said. She said she writes about personal relationships, and ups and downs of life.

She performed her single, “Excuse Me (While I Lose My Cool)”, live on the show.
