Combining books and wine to create community

There’s a new concept café that combines two of people’s favorite things: wine and books. Vesper Books and Wine recently opened last month in Detroit and has created a community hub for the area.

“As far as the concept for Vesper, we definitely wanted to marry the two in a sense of making people feel like they have a true sense of a third space or sacred space between home and work,” Co-owner Symantha Duggan said.

To ensure that the space is accessible for everyone, they’ve created affordable options when it comes to both wine and books.
