April is Autism Awareness Month - a time to talk about a condition that impacts millions of families around the world.
Getting the right care for your child’s needs can be complicated especially when trying to figure out the correct steps. Metro EHS joined “Live in the D” to help navigate the process of getting a diagnosis and developmental help for a child.
“Metro EHS takes most all of the commercial insurances. We also have a financial care coordinator who can speak to you about your insurance plan and talk through that if you need it,” said Connie Combs, Behavioral Health Development Manager at Metro EHS.
Metro EHS offers a number of child therapies such as feed therapy, speech therapy, and ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis) therapy.
