Summer Concerts Will Heat Up Metro Detroit

313 Presents Kicks Off Spectacular Lineup

As Michigan shakes off the winter chill, music lovers are eagerly anticipating the start of the summer concert season, a beloved tradition in the Metro Detroit area. Howard Handler, President of 313 Presents, shared exciting details about the upcoming slate of performances.

“Attending concerts under the stars at one of our amphitheaters is one of the rites of summer,” Handler said, emphasizing the unique appeal of live outdoor music. This year’s season kicks off at Meadow Brook Amphitheatre with Sturgill Simpson, also known as Johnny Blue Skies.

Handler highlighted the variety of artists performing across metro Detroit’s iconic venues, including Pine Knob Music Theatre, which celebrates its 52nd season with artist Halsey. Notable acts such as Neil Young, Rod Stewart, and Earth, Wind & Fire are set to perform, alongside contemporary stars like “Shakira” and “Tyler, the Creator.”

In addition to an impressive lineup of 70 shows, 313 Presents is offering new ways to enhance the concert experience. “People are placing a high priority on carving out that time with their friends and really going for it and doing something special,” Handler noted. From VIP Sun Decks to private Motor City Casino VIP Clubs, fans can indulge in premier experiences at Meadow Brook and Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre.

As a bonus, Comerica Park will transform into a massive outdoor amphitheater for performances by the Jonas Brothers and The Lumineers, promising unforgettable nights under the Detroit skyline.
