A Metro Detroit entrepreneur is turning heads when it comes to the world of beauty products.
One of her items recently won first place during a prestigious International award show.
Stacy Brown stopped by “Live in the D” to chat about how her company, “Kanuni Brown,” got started.
“I’m a registered nurse for over 33 years, turned hair care formulator,” Brown said.
She said during the pandemic, when hair salons closed down, a lot of people struggled with understanding what to do with their hair, which drove her to start a haircare line.
