Q Parker Releases New Single, ‘Keep on Lovin’

Visiting Detroit on a promotional tour, reconnecting with fans

Q Parker, the celebrated founder of the legendary R&B group 112, is back in Detroit, a city that holds a special place in his heart. “I just love everything about Detroit,” Parker reminisced. “It seemed as if we were here three or four times a week back in ’96 when our first singles came out.”

Parker appeared on “Live In The D” for an interview and to perform his new single. “Keep on Lovin,” captures the essence of timeless R&B, drawing from the classic “Two Occasions” by The Deele. “When you take on a sample, you have to do it justice,” Parker explained, emphasizing the care taken alongside collaborators Rico Love and Ghost Kid to honor the iconic track.

Fans can expect an album release this fall, as Parker continues to deliver the soulful melodies that shaped his career. “The way I was raised in the game is you release a song, let people fall in love with it, and then hit them with the full ERP.”
