The Detroit Shipping Company is usually known for food, drinks and vibes, but the producers of the “IT in the D” podcast said this is the perfect spot for media.
Bob Waltenspiel and Randy Walker are behind the Detroit Podcasting Company and the podcast “IT in the D”.
“We started IT in the D as a community organization for IT professionals…we found that recording a long-form podcast was a great way to build relationships, and we have extended that to different communities,” Waltenspiel said.
Launched in 2007, it has grown into a powerful platform, garnering over 9,000 LinkedIn members, hosting more than 250 networking events and producing over five hundred weekly podcasts.
“If you are a big company, we can help you focus your voice to get to a specific audience, or if you’re a smaller voice, we can help you get your voice amplified,” said Walker, who is the co-host and producer of “IT in the D.”
