Mia Ray turned her passion into a purpose—and a multimillion-dollar brand. She is the founder of Glam-Aholic Lifestyle, a line of chic, functional, and affordable purses that has built a cult following. Ray joined “Live in the D” to talk more about her new collection.
“This collection drops today, which is an extension of the collection that we already have…The jumbo cosmetic pouch is perfect for travel, then if you’re running errands and want to go hands free the cell phone bag is perfect,” Ray said.
Glam-Aholic Lifestyle started as a fashion blog focusing on affordable luxury accessories. Ray began selling tote bags to her followers and her brand bloomed into an overnight success.
“I spoke it into existence, so I really imagined myself being here…This all started from my fashion blog back in 2009. It started from one tote bag to build a connection with my readers, and it evolved into this,” Ray said.
