Heart is ready to rock Detroit

Iconic band will be performing at the Fox Theatre

They’re a rock band with a presence spanning nearly five decades with more than 35 million albums sold worldwide and 20 top 40 singles, and now Heart is coming to rock Detroit. They’ll be taking the stage at the Fox Theatre Wednesday night.

Ahead of their performance, band member Nancy Wilson talked with “Live In The D” host Tati Amare about what fans can expect.

“Heart’s a real rock band, and there’s not a lot of real rock bands out there roaming the earth these days anymore, so I think it’s just a great experience for all age groups,” Wilson said.

Wilson also talked about the band’s early days and the pivotal moment when songs from their first album started being played on the radio.

“We had all of the ambition in the world, but when it actually started to become a reality, were we were just thrilled, you know, just thrilled beyond words that we heard our song on the radio,” Wilson said.

Heart will take the stage at the Fox Theatre on Wednesday, June 4th. Tickets are available online.
