A new survey sheds light on what people think about how technology is impacting their ability to get a job after graduation. Some may think it’s necessary while some believe the future of AI is changing the workforce environment.
Friends of the show, Orlando Bailey - the executive director of Outlier media, Vanessa Cohen - the co-founder of the Cohen brand, and Blaine Fowler – radio host from 96.3 joined “Live in the D” to share their thoughts.
“I think a lot of people may feel like college is a waste because they spend almost 100,000 dollars paying for it and then spend the rest of your life paying it back because the job market is not as stable as it used to be,” Bailey said.
Another topic of discussion was the growing prominence of artificial intelligence and its potential to reshape industries within the workforce. Research indicates that forty-nine percent of Gen-Z job hunters think their college degree has lost value in the job market because of Artificial Intelligence.
“The user of AI is the person that is most valuable, and how they use it…. Learn how to use AI and you can become extremely more valuable in the market,” Cohen said.
