Momento Gelato and Coffee was inspired in Bologna, Italy, but polished here in Detroit. Momento Gelato manager, Larry Miller, joined “Live in the D” to share what sets them apart.
“Our founder fell in love with gelato and even went to Italy to learn how to make it. So, we have an authentic recipe for making gelato,” Miller said.
A sgroppino is a delightful Italian treat that elegantly blurs the line between cocktail and dessert. Now that we’re finally reaching those summer temperatures, Miller gave a step-by-step on how they serve the best of both worlds.
“It’s only three ingredients... We’re going to start with a scoop of our lemon sorbet in a martini glass, then we have a little prosecco and a shot of Grey Goose... That’s it,” Miller said.
