You don’t have to travel far to enjoy Italian cuisine. Instead, you can check out Ottava Via in Corktown.
“We are a scratch kitchen… Chef Ariel Millan is brilliant, and he takes great pride in his recipes and execution,” said Kimberlia Kirk with Ottava Via.
The restaurant is in its twelfth year and has expanded in the Corktown area since the beginning. Kirk spoke about some of their challenges during COVID and how they stayed afloat during those harsh times.
“During times of COVID, we were closed for normal dining… we utilized that time to expand our business. We have doubled our space in size, and that includes a lot of private event spaces… we do lots of rehearsal dinners, bridal and baby showers, we’ve had four actual wedding ceremonies,” Kirk said.
