“100 Women in Heels” March to Empowerment

A Grand Walk Down the Avenue of Fashion Celebrates Women’s Strength

This Sunday, the historic Avenue of Fashion will witness a unique spectacle as 100 women strut in style for a cause. The event, aptly named “100 Women in Heels,” is organized by Mr. B’s Shoes for Her and promises to be a celebration of women’s empowerment.

The mastermind behind the event, Barron Harris, owner of Mr. B’s Shoes for Her, appeared on “Live In The D” to highlight the significance of the gathering. “Ladies need to have someone standing up and letting them know how much we appreciate them for all the accomplishments with which they’ve done,” Harris said.

This free event will feature not only stylish shoes but also an opportunity for women to network, express themselves, and embrace their power. It will take place from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Mr. B’s Shoes for Her, located at 11958 Livernois Avenue in Detroit. Organizers have planned raffles and a board for attendees to express what empowerment means to them, ensuring a lively and inspiring afternoon.
