Catch this spooky family live on stage this weekend

Morticia, Wednesday, Gomez, Pugsley, and the rest of the Addams family are set to take the stage in metro Detroit.

Tonight is opening night for the Rose Above Theatre Company’s production of “The Addams Family.” Before the curtain goes up, some of the cast members stopped by Live in the D to chat about the stage play. “The musical does deviate a little bit from the characters we know from the original series,” Cast Member Em Rose Miller said. She said in this production, Wednesday is a little bit older and has found love in a “normal,” boy, and she’s hiding it from her parents.

The show runs for 2 weekends, Friday-Sunday June 20-22 and Friday-Sunday June 27-29 at Bloomfield High School.
