Celebrity chef to transform one lucky couple’s kitchen

The kitchen is often considered the heart of the home. Celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis is helping to give people the kitchen of their dreams.

“I teamed up with interior designer Eric Garcia out of L.A. He’s young and vibrant and has a lot of skill in creating different looks,” De Laurentiis said during an interview on “Live In The D.”

This special is different than her original format where she cooks with guests. Now, she designs the layout of their new kitchen. De Laurentiis expressed that a combination of the two is what makes the project even more special.

“It’s marrying the two together because I do cook with the homeowner in the beginning to really get the feel of the kitchen and understand what is needed for them and their cooking skills.”
