The Netflix show takes viewers through a season with the cheer squad, from auditions to training camp.
In addition to showcasing what it takes to earn a spot on the squad, the show also highlights the comradery between the cheerleaders.
“The sisterhood I think is something that we’re very proud of and something that we don’t ever take for granted. I’ve met the most amazing women who have shaped me into the person that I am today and I’m grateful for that,” said veteran Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Jada Mclean.
Long-time cheer squad director Kelli Finglass is a former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader herself.
“It’s the hard work together that is just so rewarding. It’s hard to explain, but yet it’s not if anybody’s been on a team sport. It’s just success together, and that makes it more fun. It’s not a one person sport or a pageant, it’s a team and those shared experiences are the same, even back to my days,” Finglass said.
