A local baker is using her talents to help others put their cake decorating skills to the test.
Daijah Saunders, owner of Dessert Essentials, joined “Live in the D” to talk about a few upcoming events and demonstrate a cake decorating lesson.
“I have been decorating cakes since I was a little girl with my mom in the kitchen, and I started a business once I got older,” Saunders said.
Saunders decided to take her skills to Oakland Mall to teach cake decorating classes for all ages, including private classes.
“I have a grand pop-up going on at Oakland Mall. We will be there for the entire month of July,” Saunders added.
