See this Ontario resort from a scenic ‘bird’s eye’ view

Blue Mountain Resort Gondola offers spectacular views

What do the great outdoors, trees, mountains, and water have in common? Yes, it’s beautiful scenery - but all of it can be taken in while enjoying a cool experience at Blue Mountain Resort in Ontario, Canada. “On the open air Gondola you get 360 degree views of the Southern Georgian Bay,” said Allie Ervin, Content & Social Media Specialist at Blue Mountain Resort. She said the Gondola is one of the most popular attractions at the resort, mainly due to the views people experience while on the 6-minute ride up the mountain. “You’re going to be overlooking the Niagara Escarpment, and you might see a fox running around.” Ervin also said, for those looking to take in the views in a more adventurous way, there’s an activity for that. “We have so many options for hiking trails, we have a lot of acreage, we have over 20 miles of trails.” She said there are also shorter trails for a more leisurely hike.

If you’re looking for a unique dining experience, there’s the Summitview Pavilion restaurant, that sits at the top of the mountain steps away from the Gondola. They have lunch and dinner options, and guests have a front row seat to the beautiful resort and water views below.
