Adam Sandler is back as ‘Happy Gilmore’

Sequel is now streaming on Netflix

Actor Adam Sandler brought the character of Happy Gilmore to life in the 1996 film that became a cult classic, and now fans are celebrating the character’s return in a new sequel streaming on Netflix.

The hockey player-turned-golfer is back on the golf course in the new movie, which includes a star-studded cast with many favorites from the original, like Christopher McDonald. He returns to play the role of Gilmore’s golf nemesis, “Shooter McGavin”. Julie Bowen reprises the role of “Virginia Venit”.

“Happy Gilmore 2″ is filled with a plethora of cameos from golfers Rory McIlroy to Scottie Scheffler.

Rap fans will also spot some familiar faces with Eminem and Bad Bunny both appearing in the sequel.

NFL fans should also keep their eyes out for an on-screen appearance from Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce.

Movie Reviewer Greg Russell gave “Happy Gilmore 2″ a rating of 4 reels out of a possible 5 reels.
